Well, let’s put it this way – last week was a stressful week.
Wow, I didn’t even realize I missed a day! Soooo Sorry!
I hope everyone has an AMAZING day! There is Beauty everywhere but we’re usually to busy to see it. Take a moment to look, to really look and appreciate what’s around you.
Aw…feeling so much better after a weekend of relaxing. We had lots of fun in Long Beach despite the fact that it rained all day on Saturday. Lots of Fun!!
Ugh…feeling so discouraged. Things just aren’t happening the way they should be. I’m feeling exhausted but am seeing no results. :( I will be trying the Adrenal Cleanse – once again – next week. I must push through this and try to figure out what is causing the slow results…and keep my eyes on the prize!!
Happy Day! I’m feeling better, YAY!
Cheat Day! Yay! When you’re striving to lose weight, I always encourage my clients to take one day per week to eat as they’d like. This takes away all of the cravings that they experience. A good way to help with this is throughout the week, keep a journal and write down what you are craving and include that thing on your cheat day! If it’s M&M’s, have some M&M’s, if it’s Pizza, have some pizza. Just remember to do so in moderation because now that you’ve been eating healthy, your body might not react so good to a BINGE, so go easy, and enjoy your cheat day!
When we’re training, trying to reach a goal, there will always be obstacles – illness, stress, or even a family wedding or party that may send us over the edge. There is nothing wrong with slipping occasionally – skipping a workout, indulging in something that is a no-no on your nutrition plan, or having an extra “unhealthy” snack….as long as you force yourself to get back up on the horse and continue after the fall. No one is perfect. You must keep your eyes on the prize – whatever it might be… Perhaps putting a photo of how you want to look, or maybe a quote from your favorite magazine with a photo beside it…Something like “Fit at 46″, or “A person only grows as much as his horizon allows” (John Powell), or “CANI – Constant and Never-ending Improvement” Tony Robbins. Keep the goal in front of you. If you work, place a small inspiring photo on/near your desk, on your refrigerator, in the break-room…whatever it takes to keep you motivated and on target!!
